How to Embed Social Media Posts in PowerPoint

A share symbol

PowerPoint can't insert social media posts, and screenshots can't play videos or show new comments. Web Viewer 2.0 shows the live post on your slide, so you can play its video during Slide Show.

Embed a post

  1. Open a public post and copy its link from the post's Share menu.
  2. Insert Web Viewer 2.0 on the slide, click www, paste the link, and click Load.
  3. Social media sites don't allow their pages inside other apps, so Web Viewer offers a version of the post that can appear on the slide. Click Load to use it.

Social media sites don't allow posts from private accounts to be embedded. Resize the viewer so the whole post fits.

FAQ

Do I need to download the video first?

No. Web Viewer plays the post from the social media site, so keep an internet connection while presenting.
