Privacy Policy

This policy explains what 1990 Quebec collects across our website and products, why we use it, and how we protect it.

What does this policy cover?

This policy covers 1990quebec.com, our account and licensing services, purchases, support, and shared product infrastructure. Each product also has a privacy policy that explains its exact permissions and content-processing workflow. Follow the product policy when it describes a more specific practice for that product.

What information does 1990 Quebec collect?

How does 1990 Quebec use this information?

How does 1990 Quebec measure website activity?

Google Analytics runs on public pages such as product, pricing, help, and legal pages. It uses first-party identifiers to distinguish visitors and sessions and reports page activity, approximate location, browser, device, and referral information. Google uses an IP address during collection to determine approximate location and discards it before logging the Analytics data.

Google Analytics does not run inside add-in task panes, authenticated dashboard pages, add-in authentication dialogs, or blank redirect pages. Sentry can still report errors from supported website and add-in pages as described above, but we do not enable Sentry session replay or performance tracing.

How do products process customer content?

Most products process selected content in the browser and exchange files directly with Office, Outlook, SharePoint, Google Slides, or the user’s device. Some features contact another service to complete the action you requested. Examples include rendering a LaTeX equation with CodeCogs, loading a selected website in Web Viewer, requesting map tiles, and creating a timer video through Google Apps Script.

Each product policy identifies the content involved, where processing occurs, the providers involved, and any diagnostic fields that can contain a filename or URL.

Which service providers process data, and where?

A product policy lists any additional provider that its feature contacts. Does your organization require a different data residency region? Contact support and we’ll help.

Does 1990 Quebec sell personal information or use customer content for marketing?

No. We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer files, support messages, or diagnostic events to build advertising profiles or market third-party products.

How does 1990 Quebec protect information?

We use encrypted HTTPS connections for data in transit. Google Cloud encrypts Firestore data at rest, and Firestore security rules prevent public access. Microsoft, Google, Stripe, and Sentry apply their security controls to the data they process.

We limit access to 1990 Quebec systems to authorized personnel who need the information to operate products, respond to requests, secure our services, or comply with legal obligations. No system provides absolute security, so we review and improve these safeguards over time.

How long does 1990 Quebec keep information?
