How Do I View DICOM Files in SharePoint?

Choose a supported DICOM file, a folder containing DICOM files, or a DICOMDIR file-set, then click View DICOM in the command bar. The viewer reconstructs the study hierarchy and opens the images in SharePoint.

What File Formats Are Supported?

DICOM Viewer supports .dcm, .dicom, .dcm30, .ima, and extensionless DICOM files, including single-frame and multiframe images. It supports uncompressed, deflated, RLE, supported JPEG, JPEG-LS, JPEG 2000, and HTJ2K transfer syntaxes. DICOMDIR file-sets are also supported.
