OneNote embeds content from many services when you paste their links, including YouTube, Vimeo, Microsoft Forms, and Sketchfab. Check Microsoft's list of supported services first. For any other website, Web Viewer 2.0 places a live web page on your OneNote page.
Embed a website with Web Viewer
OneNote supports add-ins in OneNote on the web only.
- Open your notebook in OneNote on the web.
- Click Insert > Office Add-ins, search for Web Viewer 2.0, and click Add.
- Sign in when Web Viewer asks.
- Click www, paste the website's link into URL, and click Load.

How do I embed a video in OneNote?
Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link on the page, and OneNote embeds the player. Use Web Viewer for video sites OneNote doesn't support.
Why won't a website load?
Some websites block being shown inside other apps. Web Viewer offers an alternative version when one exists. If it doesn't offer one, learn why some websites block embedding.
