At the same file size, lower-object 2D drawings can remain responsive even when higher-object files load more slowly. When file size and object count point to different tiers, follow the object-count guidance.

What is the SharePoint native DWG viewer limit?

SharePoint includes a native DWG viewer. In one test, a simple 30 MB DWG did not open in the SharePoint native viewer. CAD Viewer opens comparable 30 MB DWGs comfortably.
