This policy explains what Zip & Unzip for SharePoint collects, why we use it, and how we
protect it.
What account and usage data does Zip & Unzip for SharePoint collect?
SharePoint provides your work email address. We use it to identify your account, apply usage
limits, verify license access, and provide support.
We store:
Your work email address
The date we created your product record and the installed add-in version
Your first and most recent usage dates and number of completed archive operations
Organization administrators can provide work email addresses to assign licenses. We store
those addresses with the license assignments.
Does Zip & Unzip for SharePoint upload files to your servers?
No. Your browser reads selected files or archives directly from SharePoint. Compression,
extraction, and password handling happen in your browser.
Zip & Unzip for SharePoint saves generated archives and extracted files directly to the
SharePoint destination you choose. When you choose Download, your browser saves the archive
directly to your device. Our servers do not receive the file contents.
Why does Zip & Unzip for SharePoint need SharePoint access?
Zip & Unzip for SharePoint uses your existing SharePoint permissions to:
List the selected files and folders
Read files for the archive operation you request
Create archives, folders, and extracted files in the destination you choose
Zip & Unzip for SharePoint does not grant access to files you cannot already access.
What diagnostic and support data does Zip & Unzip for SharePoint collect?
When Zip & Unzip for SharePoint encounters an error, Sentry receives a diagnostic event so
we can investigate and fix the problem. The event includes:
Your work email address
The browser, operating system, product name, and add-in version
The full SharePoint page URL where the error occurred
The error message and recent technical events, including a file, folder, or archive entry
name when it relates to the error
Diagnostic events do not include archive passwords or file contents.
We also process the information that users choose to send when they contact support.
Does Zip & Unzip for SharePoint use analytics or activity tracking?
The add-in records the account and usage totals described above. It does not use Google
Analytics, session replay, screen recording, or advertising trackers.

Do you sell personal information or use it for marketing?
No. We do not sell personal information or disclose it to third parties for advertising or
marketing.
Which service providers store Zip & Unzip for SharePoint data, and where?
SharePoint stores source files, generated archives, and extracted files in your
organization’s existing SharePoint environment. Our servers do not store those
files.
Google Cloud Firestore stores account, licensing, and usage data in United States data
centers.
Sentry stores diagnostic events in United States data centers.

How do you protect Zip & Unzip for SharePoint data?
We send account, licensing, usage, and diagnostic data over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Google Cloud encrypts stored data. Firestore security rules prevent public access.
SharePoint controls access to your files. We limit access to our Google Cloud and Sentry
projects to authorized personnel who need the data to operate the product, respond to
support requests, or comply with legal obligations.
How long do you keep Zip & Unzip for SharePoint data?
We retain account, usage, and license records linked to your work email until you request
deletion.
We retain diagnostic events only as long as needed to investigate errors and maintain the
product.
We retain aggregated signup and usage totals that contain no email addresses or other
identifiers.
How can I access, correct, or delete my data?
Email product@1990quebec.com from the work email you use with Zip & Unzip for SharePoint. We
will verify the request and delete the records linked to your work email within 30 days.
How will you communicate policy changes?
We post each revision on this page and update the effective date below.
