File Handling

Files are handled locally in your browser. When you use ZPL Files for SharePoint:

• The selected file is downloaded directly from your SharePoint document library
• The source text is read locally in the browser to power the viewer shell
• No file contents are sent to our servers or to a third-party rendering service

We never collect, read, store, or transmit your SharePoint files on our backend.

Permissions

The extension uses SharePoint permissions already granted by your administrator. Those permissions are used only to download the file that the user explicitly opens.

Third-Party Services

ZPL Files for SharePoint does not use third-party analytics or viewer services for file handling. Microsoft authentication services are used for sign-in.
