Google provides your account email address when you install or use the add-on. We use it to
identify your product record, count usage, and provide support.
We store:
Your Google account email address
The date Timer for Google Slides created your product record
Your most recent usage date and number of timer videos created
We also store daily signup, usage, and active-user totals without email addresses or other
user identifiers.
How does Timer for Google Slides create and store a timer video?
The add-on generates the MP4 video in your browser from the duration you enter. It sends the
generated video to Google Apps Script, which creates the MP4 file in your Google Drive and
returns a Drive link. The add-on does not read your presentation or automatically insert the
video into a slide.
Why does Timer for Google Slides request Google permissions?
Display the add-on: Google Slides lets the add-on create its menu and
open its sidebar.
Read your email address: The add-on identifies your product record.
Create Drive files: The add-on creates the timer videos you request. The
Drive permission covers files that you select or that the add-on creates.
Connect to external services: Google Apps Script sends the account and
usage fields listed above to Google Cloud Firestore.
What diagnostic and support data does Timer for Google Slides process?
When an export fails in your browser, the add-on displays technical details such as the
error message, browser information, and WebAssembly support so you can share them with
support. We receive those details only when you choose to send them to us.
Google operates the Apps Script and Drive services and records service logs under its own
Google Workspace and Cloud practices.
Do you sell personal information or use it for marketing?
No. We do not sell personal information or disclose it to third parties for advertising or
marketing.
Which service providers store Timer for Google Slides data, and where?
Google Cloud Firestore stores account and usage data in United States data centers.
Google Apps Script processes each generated video and creates the MP4 in your Google
Drive.
Google Drive stores generated videos under your Google account or organization’s
storage configuration.

How do you protect Timer for Google Slides data?
Google protects generated videos with your Google Account and Drive permissions. We send
account and usage data to Firestore over encrypted HTTPS connections. Google Cloud encrypts
stored data, and Firestore security rules prevent public access.
We limit access to our Google Cloud project to authorized personnel who need the data to
operate the product, respond to support requests, or comply with legal obligations.
How long do you keep Timer for Google Slides data?
We retain account and usage records until you request deletion.
Google Drive retains each timer video until you delete the file.
Removing the add-on or revoking its Google Account access prevents future access but does
not delete your Firestore product record or existing Drive files.
We retain aggregated signup and usage totals that contain no email addresses or other
identifiers.
How can I access, correct, or delete my data?
Email product@1990quebec.com from the Google account you use with Timer for Google Slides.
We will verify the request and delete the product record linked to your email within 30
days. Delete generated timer videos directly from Google Drive.
